The Tyrant (2024), The Last Monster that Survive ?

Spin-off from “The Witch” film with total 4 eps that full of violence and show us that the monster is still there, still exist. The last one usually become the stronger one, isnt it ?

Airing on August 14, 2024, series 4 eps ini merupakan spin-off dari “The Witch (2018)” yang sudah lumayan lama sih. I do wish they make the sequel for this, since we can see the project is success adapted in Chae Ja Gyeong body and make her become the Tyrant !

Since this one a spin-off, what left behind from the witch masih ada sangkut pautnya, jadi nonton series 4 eps ini beneren force our memories to remember what and how the film end, because there is only 1 left, the virus that everyone want to get and destroy for good.

Chae Ja Gyeong is a quiet different dan punya 2 kepribadian. Sering berbicara sendiri, almost everyone scare of her because she can kill without any hestitations. After get her father remain, she try to earn money but get betray by the person who asking her for help.

Secure “the tyrant” without knowing what is it, she start to look for Yeon Mo Yong, the one who hire her and also kill her. Kind of twist but that is what make this series feel interesting.

Lim Sang, the retired ace assasin that start to work again under Choi Guk Jang, cross his path with Chae and sooner know that she have tyrant all the whole time. Did he finding his end, or someone will save him to make the sequel of this series ?

Choi Guk Jang want to secure the last project and believe that everyone had a chances to develop that kind of power. Crossing path with a lot of people that want to destroy it, endingnya itu kinda twist but I can predict it pretty much, which make me felt little bored.

Overall, if you didnt watch the film and start this series, you will wondering about this series. Kinda violences, the story felt mess up, dan walaupun sudah nonton 2 film pendahulu, aku sampai baca ulang 2 film before the series sih, but tetap saja this series is interesting.
