The Whisper Man (2026), Its Come for You

If someone say this one is a crime film, I will say this one is a good mystery film with some mental illness that ’cause the problem in here. Totally worth it with Robert De Niro as a male lead.

Airing on August 28, 2026, what are you gonna do if you can hear whisper in window ?
Are you gonna listen to it, or just running aways far from it ?

Peter Willis is a retired detective that solve the kid kidnapper 30 years ago and had a bad relations with his family, which we still not sure why, but a little clue told us that is because his drink problem ?

Tom Kennedy is a widower after his wife die, moving to his wife hometown with his kid. He is a novelist and hate his father very much because he think the father had not responsibility.

One day, Jake Kennedy is missing and all the clue lead back into the whisper man that happen 30 years ago.
Want to find his kid, Tom asking Peter for help and here we are, back into father son relations and the case that relate to both of them.

The story was good, but the past is not clear. The son problem, lack of explainations about Peter ending as well.
Is he dead or alive after get stab ?

Overall sih this film is not bad and cocok buat kamu yang kangen sama misteri murder beruntun menurutku.
Dark, slow burn walaupun ada plot hole dengan ending yang berasa agak aneh dan mengantung.
