Return to Silent Hill (2026), Let Go of Past

Based on Silent Hill 2 game play in 2001, when we read the title, all in my mind is a horror but this reboot film is very confusing to be understand.

Airing on February 4, 2026, because this is a reboot and film, we will find the ending but a very different from the game story.

James is a alcoholic after losing his girlfriend, Mary Crane.
One day, he find a letter from Mary that begging him to be back into Silent Hill.

Despite of what other say, that Mary is already death for some month, James decided to be back Silent Hill and find out the city is change and nothing left in there. Just monster, Angela, Marie and Laura.

Which is 3 of them is a part of Mary when she is alive.

Well, the game is about James that losing his wife, but in this film, we can see how James try to mix reality and fantasy, but the ending it self is a happy ending because James finally had a chances to start over again and say sorry to Mary.

Overall, the film is good, quiet interesting and confusing in same time as well.
Worth to try and find out yourself.
