Plastic Beauty (2026), What is the Meaning of Beauty ?

Japan series always good, until they are losing idea and the series start to go nowhere, especially when family involve in the story. What is matter most ? Power ? Family ?

Airing on September 17, 2026 with 8 eps, this Japan series make us questioning ourself, do we need a plastic surgery to make ourself look better, or we need it to make ourself satisfied ?

Numata Fumi is a surgerion that believe in saving life matter most than face. Always facing a patient that come into hospital and learn that they had a plastic surgery, she blame them a lot because she still dont accept why people try so hard to change their face ?

One day, when a patient with implant come, she know that the problem was the implant. Ignore the patient request, she do what she do best to save the patient, make the patient end up being save but lately suicided because she losing everything that she want to protect.

Get blacklist from medical world, living with mom that didnt do anything for living, a stepdad that put her into a big debt and a still study brother, live throw her to forcely work in beauty clinic.

Toyama Rin is a hand of God because she make people believe that whatever she touch, she will make everyone change into someone new and live a better life after that.
Trying her best to protect her clinic, she finally crossing path with Fumi.

What is right and wrong ?
Everyone had their own reason when they decided want to change their face, right ?
Many patient, different case and story, all is good sih.

But, when Thoyama comeback to Tokyo and start his takeover ?
The series is like losing the ground and become a family war, which losing their sense and main point sih.

A plot is predictable, which I know who is Fumi father long before it was been told.
Hate, mad and family conflict, there is a lot of open case but didnt close very well until the end.

Overall sih this series is good, but is quiet boring when it about to reach the final.
