Mudborn (2025), A Curse and Talisman is Real

Finding random Chines horror like this one feel very good. Not a good and happy ending, but the film is really good walaupun terkesan endingnya agak dipaksakan dan mengantung.

This film airing on October 09, 2025, and if you hate jump scare, this film surely have one.

Watching this make me think again to play VR game, which may can be real but we are too busy thinking it was only game and not real. Dare to play a horror VR game after watching this ?

A happy family that been ready to accept their first born child need to face a evil spirit when her husband bring back a clay doll that contain evil spirit in it. Walaupun back story about the doll is feel like mengantung, the point is clear and the film is good until the end. I not even chill a bit.

A soil from graveyard, a blood and fire make the clay doll turning into a powerful evil spirit. When Mu Hua accidently spill her blood into the clay doll, the evil start to process her body as a medium.
Realize his wife has been change, Chuan try to find help to lift off the evil spirit.

Storynya simple, alurnya mudah ditebak but still the film is worth the time.
A little big long but the horror is feel so real and I can feel the jump scare that they put in it.

I think most of us think that talisman is just a word and not even real, but for those who dedicated their life into it, the talisman itself have a lot of power and can protect us from the evil spirit.

Agak penasaran sama nasib si ahli talisman and what does he mean by saying that he want to find something when helping the couple as well. His story is not really clear but seeing him helping Chuan and Mu Hua is already feel good enough.

Overall this film is not bad, and if you like a little bit knowledge about talisman, the evil and how to get out from that, watching this sure can give you a little knowledge as well.
