Angkor Wat, The Biggest Temple with Many History
Who ever listen about “Angkor Wat” name ?
One of the world wonder, also a biggest temple in the earth.
I think this one is a Hindu religions, but after visiting this site, I think there is a mix from Buddish and Hindu as well.
My first long traveller is ending up in Cambodia.
When all around the world saying this country is not good, I decided to stay 15 day in Siem Reap, the city that had 6 – 7 hours from capital city, Phnom Phen.
My first impression when I arrived in Siem Reap is that I am feeling very alive.
The city full of light, fresh air, kind local, many food.
I stay in a room that near the Pub Street, and it cost me $10.
What are you wishing from the rent room of $10 ?
Even it was not a expensive place, I really can stay long in there because of one reason,
“The kindness” of the people in there.
As a foreign, they are pretty much good in English, and very helpful for me.
I can rent a bike and go Angkor Wat, but somehow, I take a tour that cost me around $20, which you can choose sunset or sunrise as well.
The buss will come and take you, and that trip is not including the Angkor Ticket yet.
Simple put, it is like a open trip.
Same destinations, many people all around, and making friend along the ways.
Its feeling good for me, which I really enjoy it because I meet my 2 Philippines grandma along the trip.
Some people already buy the Angkor Ticket online, while I am not buying it yet.
The tour guide sure is good because they accompany me to buy it, which I think I can learn rather than buying it online.
It quiet funny to be honest.
Angkor had 3 type of ticket, and I think the price is not gonna change because the amount of their charges, had a good meaning in it as well.
1 day pass for $37
3 day pass for $62
7 day pass for $72
If you stay longer, it would be good to buy 7 day, but if you want to travel all the temple, then 3 day pass is a nice choces.
And as for me, I buy only 1 day pass because I really had no idea how big it was.

Coming here is like a dream come true for me.
When all they say is this country not save, I feel a different ways and I do really enjoy the trip.
Wish a fun tour team, and learn a lot of history while I am on it.
To be honest, this city i kinda confusing because they are using Riel currency, US Dollar as currency to.
And because I took the tour trip, I cant really enjoy and choose the food place that I like because I been following the trip until the end.
Well, the eating place that they choose is not bad at all, but it quiet expensive if I can say.
With minimun $5 above.

This is kind of Cambodia icon right now.
They call Cambodia as a Kingdom of Wonder, which we are gonna wondering after we entry it.
From the culture, the laguage, the religions, you will be really wonder like what they claim.
I come here in a wrong time, because it was a festival happen.
Also a rainy and cloudy weather, which I also miss the sunset like I plan to had as well.
A lot of not get, but I am more than satisfied as well.
If you ask me that I wanna come back or not, I definetly will do it when I had a chances.

As per you see and what I learn, this temple is kinda old and some of the part is not really original anymore. See in this stone when you walk, there is a code and number, which tell us that some of the stone has been replace and sponsoring by some country.
The local also still worshipping inside the temple, which is interesting.
I took many picture, but somehow afraid to share it because I really didnt want to get any curse. Keeping it as my personal saving.
When I didnt come here yet, I think Angkor Wat is a Hindu temple.
But, the more that I learn from the local, the more that I know that this temple is not all about Hindu anymore. Isnt it sad, when we can see Hindu God figure, but the head is Buddish ?
For me, this temple being unique more because the mix religions in it.

I didnt get the chances to try the traditional cloth yet as wel, but all around the temple, every corner, it is full of history about Hindu God, their history in the past as well.
Many things to learn in thiss site. We also cana know that before Phnom Phen become the capital city of Cambodia, the capital is on Siem Reap.
The history is never end in this small country, both of religions, culture, politic and many more to come.
Overall, this Angkor Wat can be a main temple on the site, but I do love the other temple that also in this site as well. I will share it on some part, and if you do love it, you can pack yur bag and come here. The best experience is by walking it by yourself, isnt it ?
