The Affair Was Just the Beginning (2026), Dark Comedy that We Need from K-Drama !

The title is weird but the story is insane. With a twist, un-predictable plot and some of sex scene in a fun ways, I think you shouldnt skip this one for real.

Airing on July 31, 2026 with total 8 eps, one things for sure is, when the FL on the series is Kim Hye Soo, the series is 100% worth to be watch. Not a fans but the story for all of her drama is never disappointed at all.

Gyeong Hui had a supportive husband, Jae Hong and lovely daughter, Ye Ji.
Climb up from the poor to be rich, everything change when she buy a new house in a elite circle.

Su Jeong, a successfull doctor but divorce, live with her kid, Min Seo.
At first, she is not friendly with her new neighbour, but turn out, nobody know what happen, she suddently become a supportive neighbour for Gyeong Hui.

One day, Hui think her problem is because of her husband that having a affair with neighbour but, things is not as simple as its seem.
This series had a lot of twist and the more you watch it, the more you love it.

I had no idea why the rating is so low, but this series is different and very very good because its very different from other series as this far.

I very rare to follow series by eps, and this one really blow my mind as well.
8 eps, and I really laugh and love it. The ending ?
They didnt rush it, but they make it fun, laughable and I really wish we can had second season as well.

I will give this series 9/10, compare to any other K-Drama series lately.
I dont know why the rating globally is low, but for me ? This is so fresh, a different concept, a dark twist and fun in same time.

I think we will need a lot of this kind of drama, rather than romance.
We can felt thrill, hate, sad, fun. Simple and idiots ways to fix the problem by try to cover it together with a satisfied ending as well.
