Hokum (2026), Forgive Your Past, Be Nice

Picking this one randomly because I been seeing this in reel and I think this gonna be a good supernatural horror, and turn out, the film containt too many element with only 1 point for the whole film.

Airing on May 01, 2026, this film seem promising but trust me, you have no idea about what is the point of the rest of the element that they put inside this film until the very end.

Ohm Bauman is a famous writer that seem struggle to make the ending of his novel. Dealing with his mom and dad ash, he got the idea to spread it in his mom favorite place after he finding the old picture of his mom in Ireland.

At first, everything seem OK until the day that the hotel staff find him try to kill hisself in his room.
Is that a ghost, or a witch like what people around claim ?
I also wondering, but sure this film had a lot of jump scare.

The film then change into the room that has been lock for a very long time because the owner claim it was a witch that stay in there, which become a mystery until the film end because there is no explainations. Is that Ohm imaginations, or real witch ?

What I do get from this film is that all the story and what is happening is about how Ohm try to deal with his own guilt that cause his mom death. Trying to make peace with his past, stop being rude as a part of punishing his own self ?
Or this film is about murder story mixed with witch and horror ?
