The Ugly (2025), When the Blind Meet the Ugly

There is so many reason that I want to watch this but keep skip it, until right now that I finally complete this film, I am totally spechless and mad in the same time as well.

This film airing on September 11, 2025 and watching this in silent is the right choices because we will find out who is truly ugly in this film as well.

I think, all of the whole film is that I only waiting to see the mother face because since the film begin, we all have no clue why everyone call Dong Hwan mother as a monster or ugly woman.
Is face matter most than kind heart ?

Dong Hwan is so proud of his father that being a living miracle of Korea because his father was blind but can make a beautiful engrave. Being interview, everything change when Dong Hwan mother that disappears 40 years ago was found.

Become skeleton, Dong Hwan and the reporter now start to find out what is really happen in the past. Beside of that, Dong Hwan also want to know how his mother look like, which make us wonder as well because the face is only reveal before the end.

I am kinda mad actually, when I see the other face. Why everyone call her ugly ?
And the blind man that I pity before, turn out to be murder because of his own ego ? OMG, shouldnt he be thankful for whatever he had ?

This film have a cliff hanger ending, but what most important is that we can learn that sometimes, we are so often let other people judgement decided our life.
Is that right ? Why we let someone decided our own happiness ?
