Angkor National Museum, Learn about Khmer History

0

Spending a lot of time in Siem Reap, gettting boring while waiting time to back home.
I walk randomly and finding a museum that hold a lot of Khmer past secret and history.
While we are in it, I think like, why not to entry and learn ?

Well, I think I gonna get a free entry because this is like traditional and history, but turn out, we need to pay and it cost me around $12, that is already including locker to keep our bag. Not so bad at all, isnt it ?

Ticket to entry

Well, to be honest, I dont even understand why I entry this museum. Its clean, a little big but I find myself like getting lost inside because there is too many statue and a lot of things to be learn.

At that point, entry the museum with a hungry stomach is really a big torture because the cafe is like in the end of tour, and when we get out from the museum only for eat, you need to walk pass the ticket check again, which make me lazy even when I only think about it.

Nothing much to say, but if you like history, you can try to went inside and learn.
Beside, they also have a audio offering, which we can learn more about the history when we are attach to something that we wondering and not understand as well.

Big, clean, cold

Even I dont really interest in history (I more preferable in place with history, not a museum person), I think spending $12 to catch some good picture and ancient things is totally worth it.

This place is pretty quiet, I think most of the people that visit Siem Reap is more focus on Angkor Wat or Kulen Waterfall, which I wil write about it sooner.
Since my next trip to Thailand gonna be happen soon, I wish I can tell all about Cambodia before that.

Is this a palace pool ?

Well, there is a lot of picture that I take in this place and I think it will be hard to share it all in here.
But, if you really wondering about that and want to have a spoiler before you visit yourself, you can cehck me on tiktok, or instagram, because I share it all in there.

Nice city, good vibe, kind people and nice food with a night market that alive in the night, I totally enjoy my time in Siem reap, but as my personal opinions, Siem Reap is good to only 1 time visiting.

What I can say then,
While you are in there, make sure you enjoy everything in there as well and as much as you can, because thinking about going back again ? I will think about it.
