Bayon Temple, Khmer Architecture History
Still a part in Angkor Wat site, right now I am visiting Bayon Temple.
This is not as big as 2 temple before, and not really origin because they also make another smile statue inside the temple as well.
What make this temple feel different ?
No matter how sad our feeling, when we see the smile Buddha inside this temple, I think everything feel alright for me out of suddently.
Maybe it was already in afternoon, and the day is almost end, I didnt take many picture because I am tired and spend more time to enjoy the temple vibe.
Well, even this is not as big as Angkor Wat, coming here make me feel happy.
Some statue almost lost the face because of the age, some part is on renovations and some part is on the building, which kinda ruin my visit because the origin is not as much anymore.
I coming here in earlier month of Mei, which I losing some oppurtunity to climb into second floor in this temple site as well.

See in the smile of Buddha, isnt it calming your mind ?
Hot in summer, and get the big smile in top of everything.
My tour in Bayon Temple really pay off very much, more than I expecting it.
In this site, you can buy many things as well.
Local food, coconut water, ice cream, everything is almost only $1, which is kinda expensive but still OK.
You can either pay with KHQR or cash, and dont expect to do payment with card in temple site.
I was kinda annoyed by the kid that try to follow me everywhere to sell a bracelet.
Well, it is bracelet, some of keychain, which I feel annoyed much because no matter how many time I refuse and say no, they still following us, which kinda ruining the tour and chill time in here.

What do I learn this far in there ?
The best things to do if you like to explore is do it by yourself.
Joining the tour guide had their own happiness, but…
When time is late and everyone is tired, the tour guide can really get us into tense.
The latest picture that I take is the picture I am asking my tour friend, which I dont know well.
He take a “more better” pose of me, rather than I asking my tour guide, which I already pay.
Overall, I do enjoy my trip.
I love to learn and had a little knowledge from my tour guide as well.
Even some of the lesson is already been forgetting, and I am nto about to write down the history that I learn as well in here.
I do love this temple.
I think, when I spend about 10 day in Siem Reap, all their iconic place to visit is only Angkor Wat, and their night life.
Which 1 week is more than enough to have it all. I stayed 9 day, which is abnormal and I losing the vibe because no matter how far I walk, I ending up in same street again and again.
The people was kind,
The food can be cheaper if you take it on street,
The cafe is a lot and serve good (kind of expensive)
If you ask me,
“Do you miss Cambodia ?”
I will say YES, but not as much as I can remember.
But sure, I have no problem to return there because I still had a lot to explore.
