It is just me, or you think this film is real good ?
Mulai dari OP sampai end, walaupun I am kinda wonder about the police sister, the whole film is just good.
When you look at a murderer, do you believe that they will change ?
Redemptions, people can change and regret for the past ?
If I can say it loud and honestly, this one become my favorite Phillippines film.
At first, I am not sure about what I am watching. A crime ?
But the score is high, and the cover is great, so why not to give it a try ?
I watch this in one go, and really feel good after that, no regret.
This film airing on December 25, 2024 with 100 minute screen time. I am shock that I liked Phillippines film after watching this, because honestly I am never find something as good as this one. I am be ready to disappointed but turn out I am glad I watching this.
Well, meskipun there is something remain unclear from me, I still like how they try to tell us a story. If you look at a murderer, or you meet someone who kill your family, do you believe they will change after serve some time in jail ?
I am still wonder about the police sister dead. Is just me that miss something, or it is real unclear after the story POV change into Dom ?
Xavier spend 10 years to find his sister murderer and believe that Dom, killing her even the body remain unfind. Dom, become a prisoner after getting frame for a murder of his sister.
At first, we all believe in that.
This film is beautiful because they give us 2 side of POV. Simple miss-uderstanding can cause a big regret later. Not want to speak highly about this film, but this one is real good in delivery their messages.
Xavier POV, we can think that Dom is real monsster. He kill his sister, he kill other kid and serve time, and as prisoner, he plan to run away, which make him want to make sure put Dom in jail forever without parole.
Dom POV, we know that once people think we are bad, no matter how hard we try to be good, in the end, they just believe what they wanna to believe, that we are bad, and we will never change.
Looking at both POV ? C’mon ! Its sad actually.
I am not gonna spoil more, but at some point, I realize that miss-understanding will lead us into a huge regret later.
Its always better to look from other side story before we focus on our judgement, right ?
Overall, all I can say about this film is just, this is a MUST WATCH film from Phlllippines.
It may sound weird, but the story is just good.
I like how they try to send us a messages through the film.
