JEATH War Museum, the Memories of World War II in Kancahanaburi, Thailand
As I can say before, there is almost no reason about why I come to Kanchanaburi, but since I already in there, I think I start to know that from all of the place in Thailand, this city hold a lot of history especially when World War II happen in 1940+
One of the most place that I need to visit and nearby the city is this JEATH museum. The ticket to entry is 50b, and it’s not because I didn’t want to share what is inside, but there is no picture that allowed to take when we are inside. So, I will share what I can get and hope that will satisfied you.

When Japan take control on Thailand, there is a very painful history. Because there is a death railways, and a lot of people die when they try to build the road from Thailand to Myanmar as well.
When you go inside, you will see a lot of picture, the explanations and is you didn’t have a heart to see something sad like that, I wouldn’t recommend you to go inside because it was so painful.
Outside the museum, we can also see the tree that already been there for 300 years. Itu bisa dibilang sudah jadi kayak sakis bikes sebum kejadian bahkan Sebelum kejadian tersebut, so it was very worth it to sit below the tree and enjoy the air and the moment.

After you are happy enough to enjoy the tree, they also have a temple (wat) around them. Meskipun sebagian area still in rebuild process, the temple is sure good and when I come, I think there is a festival that happen and there is a lot of stands that sell food and some cloth as well.
Beside, they also have a clear pool with a fish inside, and a mini coffee shop.
Really, coming here is so peaceful and quiet in many ways.

The coffee have a reasonable price, the vibe is quiet and calm and full of peace as well.
I think, if I had a chance, I will really coming here again because finding the peace like that is so rare.
Even this place is have nothing much to offer, if you looking for a peace, a temple, a history, a beach, I think this city must be add in your radar as well.
Have you come here before ?
