Its a long time since I am not finding my country make some psychological film, and this one is really something different walaupun perpaduan sama agamnya agak aneh rasanya and maybe melenceng ?
This film airing on July 24, 2025 dengan durasi 110 menit. Meskipun membawa angin yang agak segar didunia perfilm-an Indonesia, tetap saja film ini punya sekian banyak plot hole, but hal yang ingin mereka sampaikan tercapai dengan baik.
As reminder, ini bukan film agama ya, jadi kalau kalian liat ada scene agama dan lain sebagainya, its just some part of the family idea. Bayangin gimana perasaan kamu ketika kamu sakit, stress, bukannya dibawa kedokter dan konsul, malah dibilang gak kegereja dan dibaptis ??
They shouldnt put that inside the film, that make this film feel weird. Kalau niatnya menyampaikan how we must love ourself, no matter how bad it is, putting that scene just make many people have a different idea. Its not like when something wrong, there is God doing, am I right ?
Milla having a perfect life. Her husband is successful, and she live with her mother in law, yang terlihat bangat control freak for everything that she was doing.
Her child, Angel, not as beauty as their parent, make her grandmother ingin melakukan operasi plastik terhadap wajah anaknya.
As you can see, how the mother in law treat Milla will cause a stress. Dimulai dari halusinasi hingga munculnya bintik merah diwajah dan menyebar sehingga menghilangkan kecantikan Milla, her past start to haunting her, like, its been so long since the last time you hide your trueself and become somebody else.
Her past haunting her, make her realize that this time, she been lying sama dirinya sendiri, and that is not OK for her. Being true to herself, and finding that her family not supporting her, she is about to make a big decisions for her life.
Keep live like that and suffer, or let it all go and go somewhere that she can become her trueself ?
Dari segi mother in law sampai suaminya, I think everything is just wrong karena berasa bangat mereka hanya menginginkan kesempurnaan and citra public, not accepting the real Milla is kinda wrong too.
As for Milla, finding the truth and being brave enough to show it ? Its something !
Apapun kondisinya, hal terbaik itu adalah tetap menjadi diri sendiri, because in the end of the day, that is only us, that can take care of ourself !
