Gak terkenal doesnt mean the film was bad. Trying to watch under-rated Taiwan film like this one, even feeling a little weird, the story is not bad at all.
Airing on July 03, 2023 with 114 minute screen time, this Taiwan film have a strong feeling between their 2 FL. When we try to find what is love, what it is that we want, and discover a lot of things, we should be ready to get hurt too, right ?
Set in 1994s student protest at college, here a new student named Wei. As a freshman, she sure is a rebel. After what happen in her class, she accidently meet another rebel student and not long after that, she join the rebel.
The rebel come from art student, but we will meet Qing, who is have a different study but join the art rebel. We can see that she try to support her boyfriend, and we will find that her boyfriend maybe just wanna to use her.
Not longer after Wei and Qing meet, their feeling to each other start to develop. Qing who keep ignore her true feeling, and Wei who keep chasing Qing because at least she know what she want in life.
The protest is not the main plot in this film, and I think all they want to telling us, I mean the main plot is about how Qing and Wei explore their feeling and discover what they want.
The protest at college just a part and silly reason to keep this film on going.
Overall, I like the screen about Wei and Qing, and I hate the boyfriend for sure, which in my view, I know he may just using Qing from the very beggining.
This one may be under-rated, but the scene and story about Qing and Wei will make you satisfies (for you, who looking for LGBT film)
