To be honest, I like their 3 first film because everything is so so great. Then the four installment come. Taking place in Shadyside from 1988, its totally feel so different.
This film airing on May 23, 2025 with total 90 minute. The story feel so plain and full of plot hole, and honestly, its kinda disappointed if we compare it with 3 film before this one.
Shadyside is the city with a bad past and story, especially for Granger name. Its cursed and its tainted because people believe that Granger mother kill her husband in the porm night, make Lori Granger life feel like hell.
Want to change her future, Lori try to be a cadidate of prom night queen. She challenge Falconer family and with her best friend, Megan. They try really best to survive the night because one by one the prom queen cadidate is disappears.
If you love slasher, you will like this but the killing is not really horror like other film. The ending itself is kinda disappointed in my view, and the whole reason for the killing ? Oh, its not really make sense at all.
I am not goonna spoil more, but if you watch this one and start to compare this with the 3 first film, you will really disappointed because the story is different, and the feel is also different too.
They destroy the witch craft vibe in this film and become a normal low slasher film.
