Some of my friend is really like this zombie film. Airing pada May 14, 2021 lalu, film dengan durasi 148 menit yang disutradarai oleh Zack Snyder ini bisa dikatakan penuh kejutan hingga akhir.
Selain itu, film ini juga memberikan clue bahwa “maybe”, this film will have their sequel in the future.
Alur yang tidak terduga, visual effect yang mengesankan dan asal cerita mula zombie yang belum dijelaskan dengan baik, do you wonder what this film about ? Ketika zombie dipadukan dengan heist, the concept of this film become really fun and not boring. This one is good.

Kalau kamu mencari film dengan ending tidak terduga, maka film ini bisa menjadi pilihan yang tepat karena semua pemainnya akan mati secara mengenaskan. Bahkan hingga akhir, Zack tidak menghilangkan element shocknya lho. You can’t guess what inside Zack head while making this film, but you will know that he was amazing.’
Film dimulai dari perjalanan militer ke Las Vegas dengan membawa seekor zombie. Kecelakaan terjadi dan zombie tersebut berhasil lepas, membunuh sebagian pasukan militer yang berada diperjalanan, mengubah mereka menjadi zombie dan menghancurkan kota Las Vegas dengan cepat. The opening is really give us a lot of story because after the opening song end, we can see that Las Vegas is already lost, full of zombie inside.
Then we will meet Scott, someone who kill his wife because she turn into zombie and left Kate, his daughter behind.
He meet Tanaka, agree to help him doing some heist to get a money that can changes his life and get out from Las Vegas, starting a new life as well.
Scott gathering his team and start his mission to get the money while Tanaka have other plan, he want a queen zombie head, not the money. The team start their adventure and try to break the vault, got their money and ready to run but everything got mess up after the zombie king find out her queen lose her head.
Jadi filmnya menarik kecuali bagian dimana zombie memiliki raja and ratu yang hamil. Meskipun kemampuan zombienya lumayan mengejutkan disertai visual effect yang OK bangat, rasanya aneh bangat kalau didalam film zombie terdapat raja dan ratu, apalagi ketika mereka tidak bisa berbicara sama sekali. Hmmm….
Terus, we can see what Kate purpose when she join her father. She want to save Geeta. In the middle scene, we can see that the king zombie have Geeta but not killing her until Kate find her. Why ? Bukankah zombie akan membunuh tanpa mengenal apapun ? Maybe the king was different and that is a really weird part on this film (for me)
In the end, nobody was survive except for Kate. After the helicopter crash, Kate is the only one survivor and she meet her father from the last time before Scott really turning into zombie. Kate shoot him and the scene changes into another character that also survive with the money, bring it out from vault and flight into Mexico city but… He got biten too…
