I have this film long time ago in my saving file and I just watch it today because this film need 126 minutes sitting and wipe tears.
This film originally airing on June 06, 2014 based on John Green 2012 novel with a same title.
Ini sebenarnya film romanti, I kinda hate that kind of genre but what make this film be special ? Because the film is pretty damn sad and I can’t hold my tears in the end of film !

So, the film start with Hazel Grace yang menderita kanker dan harus memasang selang oksigen kemanapun dia pergi. Bersekolah dirumah dan tidak bisa berteman dengan siapapun, everything changes ketika dia pergi kesupport group dan bertemu dengan Augustus Waters.
From the first time, we will see that Hazel is the one who suffer a lot because Augustus just have one leg and the other leg is machine.
Aug fall in love with Hazel and try really hard to get her. I think in that point, this film is just a simple romantic film with cancer but I was wrong until the end (even I can guess before the end)
Aug try his best to make Hazel dream come true. Always making fun and everything like other normal people who fall in love with girl.
I think Hazel will die but … I am not gonna say it all. When I say I can’t expected the film, you can guess who is ‘actually’ die in the film, right ?
Nothing special from this film. All I like is how Hazel express her self and make a finishing blow speech in the end of film. It was sad, actually. How she feel, how she deal with her conditions and how she try to accept the end of Aug as well.
We never expect who we will fall in love with, but we can always do our best to remember them.
