I decided to watch this one and all I see is how the old people try to get rid of their ill and try to remember everything. It is kinda sad and have a strong lesson too. More you watch, more you will understand about what this story about.

Film diawali dengan kedatangan Anne keflat ayahnya yang sudah tua. Anne memberitahu ayahnya bahwa dia akan pindah ke Paris and ayahnya harus mendapatkan pengasuh yang baik. Tindakan ayahnya sudah membuat beberapa pengasuh sebelumnya pergi but I think that is not the main problem in this film.
Before Anne leave him, Anne say that she will do something if her father keep doing things like that. Didn’t know what exactly Anne gonna do, the scene change into next day while a woman and a man come into Anthony flat and say that they live there and Anthony just come and live with them. In Anthony mind, he still on his flat.
Jadi ini film agak membinggungkan karena kita dibawa berjalan menurut sudut pandang Anthony, penderita dementia sekaligus ayah Anne. Memori yang hilang dan bercampur aduk serta how times flies in this film is kinda make us feel confused but you’ll understand after you watch this whole film.
Day by day passed. Anthony keep looking up for Anne, think that his another daughter still alive (she is dead) and still think that he was on his own flat but in fact, Anne is already sending him into hospital and Anne going to Paris, to live with her husband.
Jadi ini film sebenarnya sedih bangat, ngasih tahu kita bangat bagaimana jadinya ketika kita sudah tua dan mengalami dementia. Ketika semua kenangan mulai hilang dan bercampur, ketika anak kita mulai beranjak dewasa dan meninggalkan kita karena dimata mereka kita menjadi beban.
This film is full of lesson and Hopkins is REALLY GREAT in this film !
