Watching old film on saturday night always feel good.
I find this film because I love Kate Siegel. She is the lead role in this film as Maddie, a deaf and mute woman that live alone in isolated wood and a writer. Be friend with Sarah, this film is simple but also great actually.
Airing in April 2016, this film only have 81 minute. I didn’t skip any of it because I kinda like the film even the ending is not really great for me. I can guess what happen to Maddie after her final fight and here we go ! Let’s try to enjoy the horror inside.

Maddie is a horror writer that live alone in isolated wood. She have a friend name Sarah, who visit her almost everyday just to read a book or talk. Sarah also learn how to speak with mute.
After Sarah leave, Maddie continue to write her ending novel and while she wash the dish, Sarah run into her house, asking for help but deaf Maddie didn’t realize it.
The man kill Sarah outside Maddie home. Sooner, the man find out that Maddie is deaf and mute as well when she do some video call with her friend. Being alert that there is someone behind her while doinf face time, Maddie now must face a killer outside her house.
Didn’t have a phone, didn’t have a light and wifi, didn’t have a car and way out. Maddie now is alone and try to survive. Find out that Sarah is already dead, now Maddie must choose her own ending. try to escape, run or kill the killer ?
This film is good because we cant guess what will happen, especially when Maddie is deaf and mute.
In the final scene, after Maddie win the fight, I think she got her voice and hearing back ?
She been like that when she was 13 and now, after nearly got killed, she got everything back ?
It is a happy ending or what ? Nobody know what will happen next because the scene just end when police car arrived.
She even not talk when she call 911.
We also didnt know why the man come and start to kill Sarah first.
We also didnt know how the police can come even we just call 911 without talking, especially when you live in isolated wood ? Hmm….
