It’s been a long time that I didn’t have any movie time alone.
I decided to watch this one from the same director in Hereditary movie and I really sad and mad and fix, I will never watch anything from Ari Aster anymore.
This movie airing on July 2019 and just playing on my country this month.
About 147 minutes and some cut. This movie is a really bad one !
Ada yang bilang ini film karya terbaik dari director Ari Aster and ada yang bilang ini film teraneh yang pernah ada.
Well, here is my opinions but maybe I didn’t understand so, I keep be open mind when I write down my review.
It’s strange when the opening scene is telling us that Dani lost all her family.
Her sister look like suicided and 2 of her parent die too.
They didn’t tell us why her sister decided to kill their whole family but the story just flow so fast into the day when Christian, the one who still beside Dani and also Dani boyfriend telling her that he will went to swedia with Pelle, Mark and Josh. They went into fight but lately, Dani decided to join them.
Movienya detail, but endingnya ga jelas. Itu sih kalau sudut pandang saya.
Mereka yang merasa aneh dengan keadaan disana dimana malam masih terasa seperti siang membuat mereka tidak tenang namun tetap bertahan disana untuk mengikuti festival yang dilakukan setiap 90th sekali disana. Hitung – hitung sebagai bahan kuliah juga kan.
Josh and Christian sempat berkelahi soal penelitian tesis mereka but lately, Josh went too far. He going to took a picture from the temple but someone just kill him.
Mark also die first when he decided to come with the girl and nobody asking for them.
The music was creepy but the story line is weird.
Mungkin ini diangkat dari urban legend or sekedar imajinasi, but they all are in the cult. Musim panen, musim gugur and seterusnya. Pelle yang berasal dari desa tersebut memasuki usia ziarah dan membawa Mei queen kepada kepala desa.
Yups. Dani be a part of family and the whole friend are dead.
Sungguh disayangkan cerita detail dengan durasi lama tidak memiliki asal mula yang lebih jelas. Scene awal juga tidak dibahas sama sekali. And it also weird when Dani become mei queen. She cry and all cry. Then she laugh when the 9 people including Christian got burning for sacrifices.
Saya tidak berpikir bagian yang dicut adalah bagian terserem. But I think it just porn because the ritual when they using Christian. Namanya juga +62. You cut and get your movie airing or no sama sekali.
Bagian cut itu ketika para penduduk desa menyaksikan adegan ranjang Christian dengan gadis desa dengan desahan – desahannya. They cut it all and hanya meninggalkan desahannya.
Warna minuman Christian yang beda itu berasal dari darah mensturasi cewek yang naksir sama dia plus bulu kemaluannya. Ini film agaknya seperti ilmu pelet gitu.
Also the last scene when they put Christian head into bear body for the last scene. Adegan bedah sih mustinya ga perlu dicut, sensasi ni film jadi hilang semua agaknya.
So, Meski versi full bisa didownload nantinya. I will re-think to watching this again.
Ga tahu dhe beda mata beda pendapat. Ada yang bilang ini serem bangat. Saya sih ga dapat seremnya. Kinda boring juga nontonnya.
