Airing pada February 12, 2021 lalu dengan durasi 110 menit, baca sinopsis’nya sih bikin aku tertarik bangat sama film ini. I watch almost 60 minute and I finally find out that this film is bored. It is really bored and I just didn’t know how to finish it anymore, I skip almost all the part before ending and I find out that the ending is also annoying.
Black comedy but it not fun at all. The first scene is good and more we watch this one, more we feel bored because all we can see is how Frances spend her money and prepare to suicided when her money is ran out. Left her kid, Malcolm alone in France with the cat that they believe have Frances husband soul inside.
SPOILER ALERT !
After Frances husband die, she force to get Malcolm out from his school and spend their life with doing nothing. Day by day, what Frances have all is started to gone and with her little cash, Frances and Malcolm move into France and live in her friend apartment.
They bring their black cat with them too as well. More we watch, more we know that the cat is the only animal in her husband bed when he die. So, the soul of her husband trap inside the cat and here we are, Frances try to speak with her dead husband again while waiting her money run out and ready to kill herself as well.
What is interest in this film is how Frances keep her streng and finish all undone bussiness in life before she run out of money and went somewhere that nobody can find her. We can guess that is the time when she die because the ending show us she went in a long road with the cat following her.
Malcolm ? Sitting and repeat his past when he was a kid and went out from school to follow Frances.
You can guess what happen because all I can see is Frances have nothing left and went away from her friend apartment where nobody can find her body.
Its kinda boring because the drama is too long and there is no more fun part to make me laugh.
Its also boring because all the praise only went to Frances, how she act, how she speak and that is it. Nothing more interest than a boringness.
