Watching psychological horror can make us crazy like the film, right ?
Yah, tergantung scene film and acting para actress, kadang kita bisa merasa bangat jadi seperti pemain utama disebuah film and feel how they feel in it.
This one is little different from other karena selain ganguan jiwa, they mix the whole film with religions too.
Film ini airing pertama kali pada September 08, 2019 di TIFF dengan durasi 84 menit. Beberapa saat kemudian, film ini mulai diperkenalkan di US pada October 09, 2020 dengan durasi yang sama. I kinda enjoy the film meskipun alurnya lambat. What Maud feel in this film is totally crazy because she is really lonely after all.

Namanya sudah film psychological, kamu tahu dong kalau para pemain utamanya bakalan mengalami ganguan jiwa. Mulai dari ngomong sendiri, melakukan hal gila yang hanya mereka tahu hingga berhalusinasi.
This film mengambil unsur kepercayaan pada Tuhan and that is why this film become little different from other psychological horror.
Its dark and sad but it also fun to be watched.
Maud, the one who resign from her previous job decided to be a private nurse. She meet Amanda and start to taking care of her. She wanna make Amanda believe in God, try to save her soul yang kita bakalan tahu kalau diam – diam Maud mulai terobsesi pada Amanda.
Menjadi iri karena pacar yang dimiliki Amanda, kemarahan Maud membuatnya berakhir sebagai pengangguran.
More Maud being alone and jobless, more she start to torture her own self just to make her God show her some way. She is a true believer and she do anything that she can to prove her love to him.
Which I just saw it as a self pity. Kesendirian yang terlalu lama, hidup yang tidak menentu, I think Maud is actually sick and need someone to help her. Not some God bullshit but what can we say, right ?
Maud mulai menyiksa dirinya, berhalusinasi akan segala sesuatu and being more and more dark after she saw something that.. I think it was on her own mind, not really happen.
She went to Amanda house, killing her and burn her own self in beach ?
Pretend she become angel and smiling when everyone just bow down ?
In the end scene, we can see that Maud is ‘actually’ scream in the fire.
So, this psychological horror really torture us. The monolog is perfect, the scene and how Maud feel all day in loneliness is also great.
I kinda enjoy it, really. Even they had a slow scene and some other scene that hard to be understand.
This one is perfect in afternoon !
