I been waiting for this film since I watched the trailer.
Meskipun film ini tidak ada dibioskop tempatku, rasanya menunggu film ini hingga bisa didownload seperti menunggu dapat THR akhir tahun.
Well, finally I got the film and I really enjoy all the scene except… The ending !
Starring by Thomasin McKenzie as Eloise / Ellie and Anya Taylor-Joy as Sandie, this film really bring us back into London in 1960s. Suasana, music dan lain sebagainya, this film was amazing. How they turn the city into 1960s and how they swap the scene between Ellie and Sandie is really good, I really like this one.

Ellie akhirnya mendapatkan kesempatan untuk menjadi design fashion dan berkuliah ke London. Long before that, she can see her mom in the mirror. I think that is one of her special conditions since the film begin.
Didn’t want to end up like her mom where we know her mom is suicided, Ellie try really hard to make her life in London since the first day.
Didn’t have a calm place to stay, Ellie move out and went into Collins place to rent a bedsit and live there.
But everything changes when Ellie start to be Sandie back into 1960s. The girl who meet Jack and telling him that she want to be a singer back in the day but everything didn’t go well because Jack didn’t help her reach her dream. Jack become a pimp and sell Sandie.
The film then changes into a ghost film ? Ellie yang mendapati diri menjadi Sandie mulai berhalusinasi dan melihat hantu para lelaki yang tidur bersama Sandie selama periode kehidupannya.
Awalnya Ellie begitu terinspirasi dengan fashion yang dikenakan Sandie dan menjadikannya sebagai role model designnya. Hingga gaya rambut, Ellie make everything to look like Sandie and everything start to turn into nightmare.
More Ellie sleep, more she see Sandie.
Until the night when her friend drug her and when she back home and saw Sandie in her bedsit, got killed by Jack ?
The film turning around and ending up without expected. Become more like dark secret this whole time.
Honestly, I really disappointed how the film end.
Even I like how Ellie can get pass everything after the truth about Sandie, the plot is still not make any sense for me.
A ghost that make Ellie scare turn out to be a ghost that asking for help ?
Are we even know where and how Sandie keep all the dead body in the house without make any smell ??
If you love Anya, if you love London back in 1960s, you should what this one.
But for the film plot ? Hmm…
It’s just good but how the exchanges place between Ellie and Sandie was great.
