Being at home while pademic make me have a plenty of time to enjoy every film that airing in 2021.
I didn’t go to cinema because so many platfom already help us to watch a very new film without any problem.
So, I get a chances to watch this film today and trust me, this film is really different dari semua film ‘Cinderella’ yang pernah ada.
Released by Amazon Prime Video pada September 03, 2021 dengan durasi 113 menit, film ini bisa dikatakan sebagai debut pertama penyanyi kocak, Camila Cabello didunia acting. Kalau biasa dia terkenal sebagai penyanyi yang agak viral and hot, kali ini dia bakalan berubah menjadi Cinderella dan tentunya hampir semua scene film ini diisi oleh suara khas dia.

Well, I will give you some clue about this film but don’t hope really high because they really change the Cinderella version in this film. What ???? Yeah ! I also didn’t believe it either but I kinda love the song that Camila sing alone with title Million to One.

Nothing really special in this film except… Mereka merubah hampir seluruh kisah asli Cinderella yang aku ketahui. Karena aku mereview, jadi aku bakalan membandingkan Cinderella satu ini dengan kisah yang pernah aku ketahui. LOL
Cinderella in this film is a dressmaker ? Seorang anak tiri yang dibesarkan oleh ibu tiri yang membencinya but berusaha keras mengwujudkan impiannya as a dressmaker !
Adaptasi filmnya tidak berubah jauh dari inti cerita Cinderella, dimana dia dijahati oleh ibu tirinya dan tidak diperbolehkan pergi keacara kerajaan. Menyendiri dilantai bawah tanah, seorang ibu peri muncul dan mengubahnya menjadi princess.
But… In this film we can see a lot of differences which make this film is kinda boring except for the song.
A lot of song in this film sebenarnya bikin penonton agak bosan juga. Meski aku menyukai salah satu lagu yang dibawakan Camila, aku tetap merasa bosan sama jalan cerita film ini karena inti masalahnya bisa dikatakan gak ada, hanya sebatas bagaimana sang raja mengubah persepsi dan sudut pandangnya doang. That is all this film can offer !
Robert, merupakan calon penerus kerajaan yang tidak kunjung mendapatkan pasangan hidupnya. Dia akhirnya memutuskan untuk menyamar menjadi rakyat biasa dan pergi mencari jodohnya sendiri. As we all know, this one is different from the original film but lets keep enjoy the film.
Cinderella, anak tiri yang disiksa dan dikurung dibawah tanah oleh ibunya ? In this film, we can see Cinderella live in basement but she has a freedom. Dia menjahit dan bermimpi untuk menjadi seorang dressmaker. Dia ingin membuka toko sendiri dan menjadi bussiness woman. When she try to sell one of her dress in the market street, she meet Robert, the person who willing to buy her dress and pay triple for it plus ask her to going into ball in castle.

I attach the only one song that I really love in this film for you. You can enjoy the vocal, the lyric and the feeling that Camila bring to us. Personally, I listening more than 10 times a day because this song touch me a lot..
So, lets back to my little spoiler as always…
This is from amazon, don’t expect a lot of beautiful and perfect magic like Disney did.
But, you can really enjoy all Camila perfom and song by her vocal. Even I don’t like the film a lot, I really get into the song and I know how it feel to make your dream come true in your limit.
Menjadi dressmaker ketika dunia memaksamu untuk menikah and hanya berada dirumah saja ?
Beuh ! I know how hard it is when nobody was there to support you and you’re all alone !
If in the old Cinderella we can see the prince and Cinderella married and live happy ever after, in this film the scene was a little different. Cinderella yang ingin mengwujudkan impiannya dan Robert yang akhirnya mengikuti pertualangan Cinderella and melepaskan kesempatannya untuk menjadi raja. Its weird but it was beautiful.
As a first acting debut, it is not really bad for Camila. Ranting filmnya agak rendah but the song was powerful. Jadi ada nilai plus and minus dari film remake satu ini sih.
Other song is also good because they have Idina Menzel as Vivian (stepmother).
So, if you miss Elsa (Frozen) voices, you must watch this film as well.
