Berduet dengan Henry Golding as Tom Webster, Katarina, yang doyan dipanggil just Kate bertemu dengan pria tersebut tanpa sengaja ketika sedang bekerja ditokonya. Awalnya perkenalan mereka terasa aneh, but seiring berjalannya waktu, Kate mulai merasa nyaman berada didekatnya.
After the ill, Kate being the different person. heart surgery in her last christmas and in this christmas, everything just felt different. She is homeless and hate to back home. She stay at her old friend house and make many trouble.
Kate also had a sister, name Marta. After their fight, Kate telling their parent that Marta had a special relation with Alba, who the parent know as her flatmate is her lover. Lesbian lover.
After the fight and Kate feel really sad about her life, she went to Tom flat and find hes phone. In that flat, she being realize that Tom is already dead and everything she went trough with Tom is her hallucination. This part is look like ‘Joker’ movie as long as I can telling you.
The act between Kate and her mother also the funny part. At least, nothing really serius lah in this movie and nothing is really sad too.
All the whole movie is telling about how Kate find herself back after the heart surgery and the fact that she will be OK if she being kind is also the lesson that this movie try to show us.
Karena judul film ini berhubungan sama natal, well hampir every scene of this film had a christmas song.
The lover you find in the momment and how we made a christmas party to other people who needed our help. Being valounteer for toher people and being kind to each other.
Well, this movie still had a lot to make but in this 103 menit, kita kurang merasakan emosi yang ingin disampaikan pemainnya.
The story just went fast, apalagi ketika Kate mulai menyadari siapa diri Tom yang sesungguhnya.
Daya jual film ini terletak pada Emilia Clarke as I can tell.
Dibilang mau melucu, everything just on Emilia act. Dibilang mau sedih juga, everything back to Emilia as Kate.
So, wajar kalau film ini mendapatkan ranting tidak sampai 50% dari total penontonnya.
But, I still love Emilia Clarke because she already doing her best even the movie can’t give more better for the plot.
